This clip of Edith Evans from 1952's The Importance of Being Earnest is the epitomy of over-the-top delivery of a line, making it my favorite out-of-context, absurdist YouTube clip of all time. I've probably watched it a hundred times, and it still makes me laugh out loud every time.
So, imagine my delight today when I saw this clip of Charlotte Greenwood "answering the cat", from a yet-unidentified film.
